Borja made his fourth appearance for Malaga as he faced his former club Atletico Madrid last weekend.

The striker played the full minutes in the 1-0 defeat, while he also started their previous match last Monday - a 3-1 home loss to Las Palmas.

Malaga are currently joint-bottom of La Liga, having failed to pick up a single point from their four matches.

Borja will be aiming to get off the mark on Tuesday night when Malaga travel to Valencia.

Matt Grimes started in Northampton's four-goal thriller at Southend on Saturday in League One.

The midfielder featured from the start as the Cobblers stretched their unbeaten run to four games in all competitions.

Northampton, though, were disappointed not to have taken all three points as they had led 2-0 at half-time.

Grimes is back in action on Tuesday night as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's side visit Wigan.

Jordi Amat was an unused substitute as Real Betis maintained their 100 per cent record in La Liga following a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad.

Amat hopes to make his second appearance for Betis on Wednesday when they visit Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Jefferson Montero (Getafe), Connor Roberts (Middlesbrough), Keston Davies (Yeovil) and Botti Biabi (Hamilton) weren't included in their club's matchday squad.
