Kyle Bartley helped Leeds United to their first win of the campaign following a 2-0 victory at Sheffield Wednesday.
The centre-back, on a season-long loan at Elland Road, played the full game as Garry Monk picked up his first league win of the Championship. Matt Grimes, meanwhile, was not in the matchday squad.
In League One, Kenji Gorre started for Northampton, who picked up their fourth consecutive draw.
The Cobblers were held 0-0 by AFC Wimbledon, with Gorre - who was replaced after an hour - going close to breaking the deadlock in the early stages.
Adam King played the full 90 minutes in Southend's 1-1 home draw with Bristol Rovers.
The midfielder made his fifth appearance for the Shrimpers, who picked up their fourth point courtesy of Simon Cox's late penalty.



In League Two, Josh Vickers featured for Barnet as they remain unbeaten following a 1-1 draw at Crawley.
The young keeper made a string of fine saves for the Bees, who were pegged back in the second half.
Ryan Hedges featured for just over an hour for Yeovil, who went down 1-0 to League Two leaders Morecambe.
The striker was replaced after 64 minutes as the Glovers fell to their second consecutive league defeat. Liam Shephard, meanwhile, was unavailable due to injury.
Finally in League Two, Josh Sheehan was an unused substitute as Newport picked up a point following a 1-1 draw with Crewe.
In Scotland, keeper Oliver Davies was among the unused substitutes as Kilmarnock went down 2-0 at Ross County.
Bafe Gomis, meanwhile, started for Marseille in their 2-1 defeat at Guingamp.
The striker went close to scoring his first Marseille goal but he steered a cross just wide from an acute angle.
