Loan watch: Emnes scores winner for Blackburn

6th March

Marvin Emnes scored the only goal to send Blackburn Rovers out of the relegation zone following a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic.
The Dutchman struck his first goal in five months after latching onto a long punt from keeper Jason Steele before cutting inside from the left and firing home from 18 yards.
That proved the difference during a tight contest at Ewood Park, with victory moving Blackburn two points clear of the dropzone with a game in hand.
Kyle Bartley was part of the Leeds side which moved to within seven points of the Championship's automatic promotion spots after a 3-1 win at Birmingham City.
Bartley featured for the whole game as Garry Monk's side recorded their third win in their last four league games.

In League Two, Liam Shephard started for Yeovil during their 4-0 home defeat to promotion-chasing Luton Town.
The 22-year-old's 35th appearance of the campaign for the Glovers, who now sit eight points clear of the dropzone.
Alex Samuel also suffered a crushing home defeat as bottom club Newport County were beaten 4-0 at home by second-bottom Leyton Orient.
The Exiles' survival hopes were hit by a stunning away performance by Orient, with the hosts sitting 11 points adrift in the relegation zone with 12 games remaining.
Meanwhile, Bafe Gomis (Marseille), Franck Tabanou (Granada), Matt Grimes (Leeds), Modou Barrow (Leeds), Alex Bray (Rotherham), Josh Vickers (Barnet), Owain Jones (Yeovil), Josh Sheehan (Newport) and Tom Holland (Fylde) didn't feature for their clubs at the weekend.
