Lukasz: Let's make this a Fab season

23rd March

Lukasz Fabianski insists the Swans are determined to make this season special after edging closer towards breaking a club record.
Victory at Aston Villa last weekend moved the Swans onto 43 points - four short of the club's previous best total in the Premier League set in 2012.
Bafe Gomis' 87th-minute winner at Villa Park also sees Garry Monk's men equalling the Swans' best return of 12 wins in a Premier League campaign - also set during the club's first campaign in the division.
And Fabianski revealed Monk's men are focussed on making it a season to remember for Swans supporters.

"It's really important for us to make this season special for the supporters and set a new points record," said the Swans stopper, who kept his 11th cleansheet of the season at Villa Park.
"To go past 50 points would really make it a great season for this football club, and it would be reward for the supporters following us at the Liberty and up and down the country for every away game."
Of the win at Villa, the Polish international added: "It was a massive win for us. Even though we are safe we want to push hard towards the end of the season.
"We had gone into it on the back of two defeats so we were very happy not only with the performance at Villa, but the points too.
"It was pretty similar to the Liverpool game - we dominated the first half without taking our chances, while the second half was more even. But we got the goal, which is most important."
