Swansea City will give Marc Guehi every chance to prove his fitness for Saturday’s South Wales derby, while Joel Latibeaudiere is fit to take on Cardiff City.

Guehi picked up a groin injury against Blackburn, and missed the games against Luton and Bournemouth as a result.

But he has been able to return to light training ahead of Saturday’s clash at the Liberty Stadium.

Latibeaudiere, meanwhile, is definitely available after taking a minor knock at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday night.

“We have not picked up anything from Bournemouth the other night, we got through that unscathed in terms of availability for this weekend,” said the Swansea head coach.

“Marc Guehi is back in light training so we will give him every chance for the weekend, although we are not sure if it might come too soon for him.

“Joel did take a knock the other night, although the change at half-time was tactical rather than because of that, and he is fine.

“Paul Arriola will not be ready, and then it is just the boys who are out in the longer term, although Steven Benda is back in training and it is nice to have him back, even though he will not be available this weekend.”
