MATCH PREVIEW: Swans v Newcastle

4th October

The Swans will be looking for their third league win at home on Saturday when they face Newcastle at the Liberty (3pm).
Garry Monk's side have recorded victories over Burnley and West Brom on home soil, as well as beating Everton in the Capital One Cup.
The Swans have kept clean sheets in all three of those fixtures, with the only goal conceded at the Liberty coming in a 1-0 defeat against Southampton a fortnight ago.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have experienced contrasting fortunes as they search for their first win of the season.
Alan Pardew's side sit 19th in the Premier League table following Monday's defeat at Stoke.

TEAM NEWS
Angel Rangel serves a one-match ban following his red card against Sunderland last weekend, while Jordi Amat and Leon Britton remain on the sidelines through injury.
Newcastle will assess the fitness of striker Papiss Cisse following his comeback from a knee injury.

WHAT THEY SAID
Swans boss Garry Monk: "It will be a very tough game. Newcastle have a very good squad and good players.
"I know they are in a difficult moment, but I've been there as a player myself and when that happens you become a different animal.
"They will come here and work hard, just as they did against Stoke. But Saturday's game is one we are looking forward to and we want to put on a good performance."

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew: "We need to get a win. I spoke to the chief executive and we discussed ways of trying to help the team and getting the team playing to its capacity.
"We focused very much this week on the mental side of the game, responses on the pitch."
