Matchday Guide | Swansea City v Oxford United
Swansea City host Oxford United at the Swansea.com Stadium (12.30pm kick-off) on Saturday in the final match of the 2024-25 campaign.
As we round off the season, there will be plenty going on around the stadium, while supporters are also encouraged to remain in their seats at full-time as the squad will be completing a lap of appreciation.
CLUB SHOP SIGNING WITH VETCH FIELD GREATS
Swansea City supporters can take a trip down memory lane and help themselves to a special piece of club history with our club shop book signing ahead of Saturday’s game against Oxford United.
Author John Burgum – who covered the fortunes of the Swans for over a quarter of a century for the Evening Post – will be joined by an array of Vetch Field greats to sign copies of his new book ‘When the Swans had Everyone Smiling’.
The book is a memoir covering John’s working life, including the golden era under John Toshack when the Swans climbed from the depths of the bottom division to the heights of the top-flight.
Alan Curtis, Nigel Stevenson, Wyndham Evans, Jeremy Charles, David Giles and Ian Walsh will be among those to join John from 11am, so make sure to go and grab your copy and get it signed by some of the finest players in our club’s history.
REMEMBERING TERRY COLES
This game falls almost 25 years to the day since Swansea City fan Terry Coles tragically lost his life attending a game at Rotherham United.
He is forever in our thoughts at the football club, as are his friends and family as the anniversary of his passing approaches.
We will remember Terry with a minute of applause ahead of kick-off.
LAP OF APPRECIATION
The players are due to complete a lap of appreciation after the final whistle.
The players will be leaving the field at full-time, but will return to the pitch with their families and supporters are encouraged to stay in their seats.
TRAVELLING TO THE GROUND
Supporters are encouraged to leave additional time when travelling to the ground on Saturday with traffic expected to be heavy due to the 'Tunes on the Bay' festival, and a partial closure of Mumbles Road which will be in place most of the day.
More details about this can be found here.

INCLUSION ROOM
Swansea City has a multi-use quiet space with prayer facilities located in the stadium's West Stand.
This room can be accessed via a door at the north end of the West Stand concourse (located at the foot of the Access D stairwell) or via main reception and the room itself is named 'The Cwtch'.
The Inclusion Room will have the match playing on the television, so that people who choose to leave the stands and access the space can continue to watch the game.
Supporters can also use this space to pray and reflect. For those who require them, prayer mats - which are available to borrow - are stored in the room.
For more information about accessible facilities in the stadium, click here.
ACCESSIBILITY
Swansea City aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone and we understand that not everyone enjoys a game in the same way.
We have a number of in-stadium facilities to ensure supporters enjoy their matchday and further information about these can be found HERE.
The club has joined with AccessAble to create visual guides. These can be viewed HERE.
BRITISH SIGN LANGUAGE

Swansea City is delighted to have a BSL interpreter onsite for our home matches.
Our interpreter, Talina Jones, will appear on the big screen with our stadium announcer to bring the matchday to Deaf and hard of hearing supporters at the stadium.
And will also be on hand to support fans for whom BSL is their main language.

LOVE FOOTBALL, PROTECT THE GAME
As we approach our final game of 2024-25 Championship season, everyone at Swansea City would like to thank you for your support home and away this season.
Your backing and the atmosphere you create is a crucial part of our club, and Alan Sheehan, his staff and the players are hugely grateful for the manner in which you have got behind the team over the course of the campaign.
To show their thanks, the staff and players will complete a lap of appreciation following the conclusion of our final game of the season against Oxford United on Saturday.
With that in mind, in the interests of safety we want to remind everyone that the pitch is for the players and match officials, while the stands are there for you to support the team.
In recent seasons, some clubs have witnessed unsavoury and unwelcome scenes with a small minority of people entering the field of play, whilst other fans have taken to the pitch in celebration at the achievements of their team.
Pitch incursions are dangerous and anyone who does encroach onto the playing surface will face strong sanctions, that could include a ban from attending matches here at the Swansea.com Stadium and across the country, as well as possible police action.
It is a criminal offence to enter the pitch and the real-life consequences for these actions have seen some of those responsible receive criminal records which can impact employment, education prospects and international travel.
It is not only yourself that can be disciplined. There could also be an impact on your family members and Swansea City.
We ask you to keep the pitch for players and the stands for supporters and avoid any unnecessary disruption.
Everybody should feel safe at football, and we all have a role to play in keeping each other safe on matchdays.
We look forward to welcoming you all for our season finale on Saturday.
Love Football, Protect the Game.
