Barrie McKay reckons Swansea City can be pleased with a point against Leeds United as Graham Potter's men continue their promising start to the season.

The Swans were pegged back twice in a thrilling encounter at the Liberty on Tuesday night, as two Oli McBurnie goals were cancelled out by Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez.

However, McKay insists Graham Potter’s side must focus on the positives after recording two wins and two draws from their opening four games of the Championship campaign.

“At first it felt like we dropped two points against Leeds,” the winger said. “But when you look at the end of the game, either team could’ve won it.

“I imagine it was a good game to watch between two attacking teams who both went out to win.

“It’s definitely a good point for us and we remain unbeaten.”

McKay praised the performance of fellow Scotsman McBurnie, who grabbed his first league goals at the Liberty.

“Oli’s been brilliant since I’ve been at the club,” he added. “I think he’s really improved his game.

“He’s taking everything the manager is telling him on board and he’s getting the goals to back up his game.”
