Meet your Swansea City Supporter Advisory Board representatives
Swansea City is delighted to confirm the representatives of the club’s inaugural Supporter Advisory Board (SAB).
We would like to once again take this opportunity to thank everyone who applied to be part of the SAB. All applicants made compelling submissions, and brought their own unique and interesting perspectives to the process.
The 10 candidates who went to a supporter vote made for an extremely strong shortlist and all brought diverse experiences with them. This was reflected in a very close voting process with all nominees receiving a high-level of support from the fanbase.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote and have their say on the future of the fan engagement at the club.
After verifying the ballots, the Jack Army have voted to include the following independent candidates:
Andrew Brayley
Alix Davies
Hayley Dimech-Jackson
Rhys Hughes
Matthew Stonham
Oliver Williams
You can view their personal statements on this page.
These individual representatives will join representatives from three supporter groups:
Swansea City Supporters' Trust
Swansea City Disabled Supporters' Association
Swansea City Supporters' Group
You can read more about these groups below. The remaining three group spaces will remain vacant during this first board.
Swansea City Supporters' Trust
Swansea City Supporters' Trust is a fan-led organisation with a permanently protected shareholding in our club, and two places on the Swansea City AFC board.
Over the past 25 years, the Trust has represented the voice of Swansea City fans. We are in the room when key decisions are made and can make sure our collective voice is heard.
Our key aims are to ensure your voice is represented in the boardroom via our two supporter directors; strengthen opportunities for diverse fan voices to be heard (including through projects like the SAB); improve our community and heritage; build a sustainable and diverse membership.
Swansea City Disabled Supporters Association
The mission of Swansea City AFC DSA is to help create an accessible and inclusive environment for all fans, enabling those with disabilities to have the same matchday experience as non-disabled people.
We seek to empower disabled fans to have a voice to influence change within the football club.
Additionally, our DSA aims to provide opportunities for our disabled fans to come together to promote a sense of belonging and common purpose and we hold regular monthly coffee mornings to ensure inclusion and involvement are paramount.
We are a critical friend to so many, and this can be a chat via text or email - but it means so much to those who may be alone or feeling upset.
We work alongside the club during fans forums and club tours and other events to ensure accessibility and inclusion is fulfilled.
Swansea City Supporters' Group
The Swansea City Supporters' Group was originally set up and managed by the Swansea City Supporters' Trust. In April 2021 the Trust relinquished responsibility for the group and it was renamed 'Swansea City Supporters' Group'
On June 27, 2023 it was renamed for Morgan Riddler, whose childhood cancer battle brought the team and community together.
Morgan became our 'forever mascot' during his protracted health battles; tragically Morgan passed away nine days before his fourth birthday, but not before having a huge impact on his local club and community.
Our admin team - some of whom have been involved since the group's beginnings, welcome all supporters to participate, enjoy and abide by the group's ethos and rules.
