Michu hails 'perfect' environment

Spanish hotshot Michu feels Swansea City is the perfect environment for aspiring international players.
With the Barclays Premier League taking time out this weekend due to the World Cup qualifiers, the Swans' training ground is quieter than usual with no less than seven players currently away on international duty.
Welsh trio Ashley Williams, Ben Davies and Jazz Richards - currently on loan at Crystal Palace - have been called up along with Dutch duo Michel Vorm and Jonathan de Guzman, South Korean Ki Sung-Yueng and Israeli Itay Shechter.
And Michu, who was linked with a potential Spain call-up a few months ago, has hailed the platform the Swans provide in helping build a player's international career.
After impressing for the Swans, de Guzman won his first Holland cap while Davies also made his debut for Wales after a string of notable displays under Michael Laudrup in the top flight.
"When we see a lot of our players being called up for their national team that is a very good thing for Swansea," said Michu, who has 19 goals in all competitions this season.
"I think the club can be very proud of that, because I don't think it had many players in the national teams before this time.
"Already we have Ash and Michel who are always in their national teams, but this season you see de Guzman earning his place in the Dutch squad, and that is a compliment to both him and the club.
"He has played very well for us this season, scoring a lot of goals from midfield, and he has done well to break into a Holland squad which has a lot of quality.
"And Ben is now playing for Wales, too, so it shows that the club can help you start an international career. It's a good place."
Of his own international aims, Michu still hopes to force his way into Vincente del Bosque's plans after catching his eye earlier this season.
But the 26-year-old admits it is a tough ask with Spain currently champions of Europe and the world.
"Of course, I would love to play for my country," he added. "But it's not so easy when your country is the best in the world.
"All I can do is just try my best and play as well as I can for Swansea, and then see what happens.
"My first priority is to help this team and push us on for the last eight games of the season."
