Scott Tancock played the full 90 minutes as Newport County suffered their first defeat in eight games when they were beaten 1-0 at Oxford United on Saturday.
James Loveridge, who also joined the Exiles on a one-month loan last week, also featured in County's narrow defeat when he entered the fray just before the hour-mark.
Elsewhere in the Football League, Alan Tate played 45 minutes for Crewe Alexandra as the Railwaymen remained rooted to the bottom of League One after a 2-0 defeat at Bradford City.
Meanwhile, Daniel Alfei missed out on Northampton's 1-1 draw at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday due to a hamstring injury, while Michu featured for 71 minutes for Napoli as the Italian side overcame Torino 2-1 at home in Serie A.
