Mulder eyes home improvement

Erwin Mulder admits the Swans must up their game at home if they are to continue their promising start under Graham Potter.

Just three points separate the Swans and the Championship play-off spots after nine games of the campaign.

A 0-0 draw at Middlesbrough last weekend added another point to an impressive tally of eight points from five away games.

Potter’s men, however, have found it tough on home soil with just one win from four attempts.

With Queens Park Rangers visiting SA1 this Saturday, Mulder hopes the Swans will get their form at the Liberty back on track.

“When we play home with the Jack Army behind us we need to pick up more points,” said the Dutch keeper.

“It is difficult in this league, but we need good results at home to push us up the table.

“We are showing that we are a tough team to break down in away games, so a good run of results at home will really help us move up.

“So far we have won just once against Preston at home, but we have the quality to turn it around.

“It’s something we are conscious of, and we must produce a very good performance because QPR have improved their results a lot in the last few games.”
