Swans defender Neil Taylor played the full 90 minutes as Wales were held to a 1-1 draw by Serbia in their World Cup qualifier in Cardiff.

Gareth Bale had fired Wales ahead in the first half with his 26th goal for his country after Hal Robson-Kanu forced Serbia's Matija Nastasic into a mistake.

It looked to be enough to secure Wales a crucial win, but Newcastle striker Aleksandar Mitrovic met Antonio Rukavina's cross five minutes from time to head in off the post and earn the Serbians a point.

Chris Coleman's side are now third in Group D with their third consecutive draw, four points behind leaders Republic of Ireland.
