New father Jay Fulton hoping for another mature display for Swansea City

2nd December

Following a double celebration last weekend, Jay Fulton hopes for more reasons to cheer when the Swans visit Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday (2pm).
It proved a weekend to remember for the young Scot, who first helped the Swans edged past Crystal Palace in a 5-4 thriller at the Liberty.
The following day he became a proud dad after his partner Maxine gave birth to their first child - Jenson.
It was a hectic few days for Fulton, but three points along with mother and son in good health meant it was the perfect end to an energy-sapping weekend.

"Hectic is one way you could describe last weekend," beamed the midfielder. "My partner went into labour on Saturday just before I left for the match.
"I had my phone on me as much as I could, but then the kitman had it after that to keep an eye out for a phonecall.
"I obviously had to concentrate on the game, but straight after the match I was quickly heading back home to pick up Maxine and go to the hospital.
"Jenson was born at 6.15pm on Sunday night, so the weekend couldn't have been any more perfect or me."

While Fulton has eased into fatherhood, this weekend he hopes to put in another mature performance.
The 22-year-old has impressed in his last two league appearances - both from the start - as the Swans picked up four points.
Now he's hoping he gets the nod once again for the Swans' trip to North London.

"It's been great being involved in the last two games," added Fulton. "I train hard and do everything I can to earn a place in the team.
"When I get that opportunity, I know there's no option other than to do the job I'm called upon to do.
"I've been pleased with my performances, but the results of the team are more important.
"Four points in the last two games shows we are moving in the right direction, and hopefully we can get a point or three against Spurs on Saturday."
