Russell Martin once again has a fully-fit squad to choose from ahead of Swansea City’s Championship clash with Middlesbrough.

The Swans have reported no new injury concerns following last weekend’s defeat to Reading, and there will be no absentees for the trip to the Riverside.

And Martin has been encouraged by what he has seen on the training pitch as his side look to bounce back from that loss to the Royals on home turf.

“We have everyone fully fit and everyone is raring to go,” said the head coach.

“We have had a really good week of training working on some bits and analysing last weekend.

“We are just trying to improve as much as we can in as many different areas as we can.

“We have had a strong training group, everyone has completed every session, which is really positive and hopefully we can keep that the case for a while to come.

“You can’t legislate for everything but we have had a really good injury record over our time as a coaching group, and that’s down to the excellent sports science and medical teams we have worked with.

“It’s also down to the guys and their willingness and ability to train really well, with real intensity to do everything possible to be ready for a Saturday.”
