Nordfeldt hoping for chance to shine

21st September

After a relatively quiet debut, Kristoffer Nordfeldt hopes to get another opportunity to shine in the Swans' Capital One Cup trip to Hull City.
Garry Monk's side visit the KC Stadium on Tuesday (7.45pm) looking to put themselves into the fourth round of the competition.
Swedish international Nordfeldt made his Swans debut in the previous round when League Two club York City were beaten 3-0 at the Liberty.
For Nordfeldt it proved a quiet evening, but he hopes to get a chance to show his quality against Hull as he continues to provide competition to Lukasz Fabianski for a place between the sticks.
"Personally, I would love to get a chance to show what I can do," said the 26-year-old. "I've never been in this position in my career. It's strange not playing every week, but there is strong competition for places here and that's why I came here.
"I wanted to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone.
"I came here knowing Lukasz had a great season, so I have to work hard to get minutes and hopefully I can get more minutes in the cup and Premier League."

The Swans visit a Hull side that is flying high in the Championship, with Steve Bruce's side currently third in the table.
And Nordfeldt expects the 2013 winners to face a stern test at the KC Stadium.
"Hull have started the season very strongly, so they will go into the game full of confidence," he added. "It would be great for the club to have a good cup run.
"Obviously Swansea won the competition a couple of years ago and that was an amazing day for the club and the supporters.
"It will be tough on Tuesday night, but we want to be in the draw for the next round so we will be up for it.
"I'd love to see us get through to the next round."
