Oli McBurnie PL2 player of the month

28th March

Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie has been nominated for March's Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.
The 20-year-old, who will feature for Scotland Under-21s tonight in a friendly against Estonia, scooped January's award after netting a hat-trick against Newcastle and three goals in the Checkatrade Trophy.
This month, McBurnie netted a brace against Bristol City to help the young Swans into the last-16 of the Premier League Cup, with goals against West Brom and Wolves ensuring the Under-23s secured promotion and the Premier League 2 (Division 2) title.

McBurnie, who was also nominated for November's award, has featured 26 times for the U23s this season and made his Premier League debut for the first team in August. In total, he has scored 20 goals across five different competitions this season.
Other nominees for March's award include Stoke City striker Julien Ngoy and Reading midfielder Jordan Holsgrove.
The winner will be announced this Friday, March 31.
