Oli McBurnie PL2 player of the month

3rd February

Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie has been nominated for January's Premier League 2 Player of the Month Award.
The 20-year-old, who has featured 14 times for the under-23s this season and made his Premier League debut for the first-team in August, netted an impressive hat-trick during the young Swans' 3-1 league victory over Newcastle last month.
McBurnie also struck a double in the third round Checkatrade Trophy victory over Wolves Under-21s before scoring against Coventry City in the quarter-final.

The young striker, who was also nominated for November's award, has 15 goals in total so far this season - including a brace for the first-team in the EFL Cup victory over Peterborough in August.
Other nominees for January's award include Brighton goalkeeper Robert Lynch-Sanchez, West Ham forward Domingos Quina, Sunderland defender Joshua Robson and Aston Villa goalkeeper Matija Sarkic.
The winner will be announced next Friday, February 10.
