Martin Olsson will see a specialist early this week to assess the extent of the injury he suffered at Brentford.

Boss Graham Potter admitted after Saturday’s 3-2 win that the Swans are concerned Olsson may have picked up a significant problem.

The left-back was stretchered off after 14 minutes at Griffin Park having been treated for around five minutes on the pitch.

Potter revealed the issue is with Olsson’s Achilles.

The Swedish international will now get a specialist’s view on the injury.

Connor Roberts filled in at left-back after Olsson went off at Brentford.

Declan John and Matt Grimes have both played there for the Swans this season, while Kyle Naughton – who played right-back yesterday – is also capable of playing on the left flank of defence.
