Pablo's special praise for supporters

15th June

Pablo Hernandez has reflected on a special season at Swansea City, and thanked the Jack Army for cheering them to glory.
The Swans capped arguably the most successful season in the club's 100-year history following a ninth-place finish in the Barclays Premier League along with winning their first major trophy via the Capital One Cup.
And Hernandez, who became the club's record transfer signing following a £5.55million move from Valencia last summer, has highlighted the incredible backing the squad has received throughout the campaign.
"It has been a special season. In Spain, I got to a final with Getafe but lost," said the Spanish international.
"Here at Swansea, in my first season, we got to Wembley and won the Capital One Cup for the first time in the club's history.
"It was a special moment. But this title, this season - it's not only because the team plays good football, because the fans are 20 or 30 per cent responsible for it.
"The team wouldn't be the same without this group of fans. They are incredible both home and away."
The Swans are now looking forward to a European adventure - something Hernandez is well versed in from his time at Valencia.
And he feels the club will benefit massively from the experience of the Europa League next season.
The 28-year-old also reflected on his first season in English football, insisting he has found a club which he can fully express himself.
"The Europa League will be a nice experience for the team, the fans and the club," he said. "Before I moved here, I played in Europe for the last four years with Valencia.
"The atmosphere in European games is very special. I think we will really enjoy this competition."
He added: "For the way I want to play, this is the perfect team for me.
"When I talked to Michael Laudrup, he told me that Swansea have a very good project in place.
"My last year at Valencia wasn't good for me, and I needed a new challenge.
"Then Swansea wanted to sign me, and I had a good feeling about the club. I quickly realised this is a family club, and I like that.
"And I think everyone can look back at this season and feel so proud with what we have all achieved. That's not just the players, I also mean the fans, the staff and everyone connected to the club."
Pablo Hernandez features on the club's 2012-13 review DVD entitled "The Golden Year", which will be in stock very soon via the Club Shop and online.
The two-disc DVD has four hours of special content, with the story of the season, exclusive interviews with the management and squad, highlights of every league and cup game, along with extra footage all part of the package.
