Paul Clement Gylfi Sigurdsson Swansea City Premier League

3rd February
Swans head coach Paul Clement and star-man Gylfi Sigurdsson are battling it out for top Premier League recognition.
Clement has been nominated for January's Barclays Manager of the Month award, while Sigurdsson is one of five players in line for the EA Sports Player of the Month title.
The new Swans boss has picked up nine points from his first four games in charge with victories over Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Southampton.
He faces competition from Chelsea's Antonio Conte who is looking for an unprecedented fourth crown in a row; Everton's Ronald Koeman with three wins from three; Stoke City's Mark Hughes following two wins and a draw; plus Spurs' Mauricio Pochettino who is unbeaten during the month.
Sigurdsson, who scored the winners against Liverpool and Southampton this month to climb out of the relegation zone, is fighting it out with Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez; Everton's Seamus Coleman; plus Spurs' Harry Kane and Deli Ali.

Both winners will be chosen by public vote in conjunction with a panel of football experts, so Swans fans are urged to cast your vote for Clement and Sigurdsson by midnight on Monday via www.premierleague.com/awards.
