Positive signs for Premier League campaign, says Fabianski

Lukasz Fabianski believes the Swans showed positive signs ahead of the new Premier League campaign following their 1-0- friendly win over Stade Rennais.
Francesco Guidolin's side signed off their pre-season schedule with a narrow victory over the French top-flight side, with sub Jay Fulton's header proving the difference.
It was a fifth win in six friendly matches for the Swans, who handed a first appearance for new signing Fernando Llorente.
And Fabianski felt very positive after their performance at the Liberty ahead of next week's trip to newly-promoted Burnley on the opening day of the league campaign.
"We can be quite pleased with the way we played," said the Polish keeper. "We only had a spell at the end of the first half where they had control, but other than that we played quite well.
"We were quite sharp on the ball, we switched play very well and we created good chances.
"The link up play with Fernando looked very promising, and that's a very positive sign for the start of the season.
"He looks very intelligent on the ball, he looks strong and holds the ball up very well.
"We only had one corner against us, and he was the one that cleared the ball. They are good signs."
Fabianski was making his first appearance of pre-season for the Swans, having had a short break following his participation with Poland in Euro 2016.
And the workout proved a useful exercise as he got 90 minutes of game-time.
"It's been one of the shortest pre-seasons for me because of the Euros, but I wasn't busy at all, which is good!" beamed Fabianski.
"I've had two weeks of training so I was ready to get 90 minutes under my belt.
"We have another week of preparation before the season starts, so we will be ready in the best way possible for it.
"I can't wait for the start of the season, and hopefully we will do well as a team."
