Swansea City Under-23s continue their Premier League Cup campaign against Newcastle at Landore this afternoon (2pm).
The young Swans have been drawn in Group A of the competition against Bristol City, Newcastle and Southampton.
In September, the U23s drew 0-0 against Newcastle at Whitley Park to take a point in their first group game before a narrow 1-0 defeat against Southampton in November.
The results currently leave the young Swans bottom of Group A, with four games left to play.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage of the competition in March 2017.
The new format replaces the knockout form of the competition. Last season the Swans lost in extra time against Millwall in the last 32 before West Ham beat Hull in the final.
