Preview | Colchester United U21s v Swansea City U21s
Swansea City Under-21s are back on the road as they make the long trip to Colchester to face the U's this evening at the JobServe Community Stadium (7pm KO).
The Swans come in to this evening's fixture on the back of two wins against Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers respectively, and have lost one of their last five outings in the league which came against Charlton Athletic.
Colchester, meanwhile, have lost their last three consecutive fixtures in the Professional Development League.
It's the second time the two sides have met at the JobServe Community Stadium this campaign as Colchester narrowly beat the Swans 1-0 in the Round of 16 in the Premier League Cup in February.
Pre-match views
Coach Anthony Wright: "It's another long trip for us and in a two-game week, but the boys' effort and dedication over the last few weeks has been immense.
"It's also our second trip to Colchester in the space of a month, and we were disappointed to have lost our cup run here.
"We'll prepare like any other game and we look forward to another good game against a tough side."

Swansea City Under-21s exited the Premier League Cup after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Colchester United on Tuesday evening at the JobServe Community Stadium.
After a goalless first half, the U's got the winner through skipper Frankie Edwards on sixty-eight minutes.
The U's had the first sight of goal on three minutes but Kiaon Lisbie put his shot just wide before Kien Connelly had a shot comfortably saved by Thomas Wright.
Both sides then found ways to get into scoring positions, but neither could find the opening goal as the half progressed.
Kai Rhodes went closest for the Swans as the second half began when he saw a shot deflected wide, before Edwards almost scored an own goal and needed Colchester's triallist keeper to spare his blushes with a fine save.
But the hosts found the breakthrough 20 minutes from time, as Edwards tapped home from a Freddie Ingram corner.
Swansea had chances to level in the closing stages but were denied by fine stoppages from the U's keeper and backline as Colchester progressed to the quarter-finals.
