Swansea City Ladies play their penultimate game of the Genero Adran Premier season as they travel to face The New Saints Women this afternoon (2pm kick-off).

The Swans look to extend their unbeaten run to 17 games in the Genero Adran Premier, having not suffered a league defeat since September.

Part of that incredible run has been a sequence of three wins and a draw since the start of phase two of the competition.

The New Saints will be looking to bring an end to a run of three consecutive losses, having not won since their phase two opening 2-0 victory against Cardiff Met.

Swansea City Ladies head coach Ceri Phillips: “The message remains the same as it has for all of phase two, finish the season as strongly as we can.

“I think TNS are good value for their top-four finish this season, there have been times when we’ve faced them that they’ve given us plenty to think about and I think at times our quality and experience got us through.

“We need to very much be at the races, there is no room for complacency and it’s business as usual for us.”

The two sides last met just two weeks ago, with the Swans earning a comfortable 4-1 win at Llandarcy Academy of Sport.

Katy Hosford opened the scoring for the Swans after just 29 seconds, but TNS responded just nine minutes later with an equaliser from Lucie Platt.

Despite the setback, the Swans rallied with two quick fire goals from Stacey John-Davis, sending her side into the break with a 3-1 lead.

Monet Legall would add a fourth in the second half to seal three points for the Swans, making it three wins from three against TNS.
