PREVIEW: Norwich v Swans

15th December

The Swans will be looking to pick up another positive result on the road when they face Norwich on Sunday (1.30pm).

Michael Laudrup's side have picked up four points from their last two league games - including an excellent 3-0 win over in-form Newcastle.

Following last Monday's draw at home to Hull - a result that left the Swans in a mid-table position - they will be looking to carry on their mini run against Norwich at Carrow Road.

Swansea have been impressive away from home so far this season, winning three times on the road.

However, Sunday's trip to Norfolk presents them with a chance of ending their hoodoo at Carrow Road.

The Swans are yet to register a win against Norwich in the Premier League in their last four attempts, with the Canaries winning three times.

In the corresponding fixture last April, Luke Moore rescued a point for Swansea in a 2-2 draw.

TEAM NEWS

Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel could feature after returning to training following a toe injury.

However, midfield duo Roberto Snodgrass (knee) and Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) are both ruled out of Sunday's game.

Chico Flores is suspended for the Swans, while Michel Vorm is still recovering from a knee problem.

WHAT THEY SAID

Norwich boss Chris Hughton: "It's been a tough week for them (Swansea), but they have got through to the next phase of the Europa League so it has been a successful midweek for them.

"You can always turn those things around. It might be a situation that galvanises the players. They are going to need to dig deep at the weekend."
