PREVIEW: Plymouth v Swans

26th July

The Swans head to Plymouth Argyle on Sunday as manager Garry Monk targets further improvements from his squad.
Following the two-game tour in America, the Swans continue their pre-season preparations as they head to Home Park (5pm) to take on the League Two side.
Monk's side faced Mexican side Chivas Guadalajara and Minnesota United during their trip to the States, drawing 1-1 and losing 2-0.
And now he wants to see a step up in terms of fitness and match sharpness.
"We want the players to improve their fitness and sharpness levels while we want to implement new ideas too," said Monk. "So these games are an ideal way of doing that.
"Being out in America really started that process, but now - with the friendlies we have coming up - we want to push on in that aspect.
"We will have to assess the squad a bit more in terms of knowing how long certain players will get, but this will certainly be an important friendly for us."
The Swans are expected to travel with a full squad, minus the injured Jay Fulton, which means new signings Gylfi Sigurdsson and Jefferson Montero could feature for the first time.
Meanwhile, Plymouth boss John Sheridan is relishing the opportunity of facing Premier League opposition.
"Swansea are one of the best passing teams in the Premier League, so we know they are going to keep moving us around," he said.
"Hopefully, though, we will get the chance to express ourselves like we have been doing in pre-season."
Tickets, which are available on the day, are priced £11 for adults, £9 for over-65s/students and £6 for Under-18s.
