PREVIEW: Swans v Hull City

20th August

The Liberty Stadium hosts its first Premier League game of the 2016-17 campaign this afternoon as the Swans host Hull City (3pm).
Both teams will be looking to build on winning starts to the top-flight season, with the Swans beating Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor while Hull - led by caretaker-manager Mike Phelan - shocked defending champions Leicester City with a 2-1 triumph.
Francesco Guidolin will be without club-record signing Borja Baston as the Spaniard has a minor thigh injury, while Leon Britton is battling to be fit as he has suffered with illness this week.
Neil Taylor is unlikely to feature as he continues to build match fitness though Gylfi Sigurdsson, who came off the bench at Turf Moor, and Ki Sung-Yueng are expected to be part of the squad.
Hull, who only had 13 senior pro players available against Leicester, are missing Allan McGregor (back), Alex Bruce (achilles), Moses Odubajo (knee) and Michael Dawson (knee).
Phelan could select Harry Maguire in the heart of his defence after the centre-back started training in midweek. Midfielder Jake Livermore, however, could get the nod after he filled in the position against the Foxes.

WHAT THEY SAID
Swans Head Coach Francesco Guidolin: "I think Hull are a good team. They are an important opponent and the match will be difficult for us.
"They haven't got a lot of players, but they have an important group. In these difficult moments, a strong group can become even stronger.
"This is our difficulty for Saturday and so we have to be ready.
"It is a massive game for us. We are concentrating and focusing only on this game. We are not thinking about what is to come afterwards."

Hull City caretaker-manager Mike Phelan: "We face another game with the same group of players.
"I mentioned last week that it could have been a big week this week but not a lot has happened.
"Everything gets tighter and tighter and the days are ticking away."
