Swansea City Under-18s return their attention to the FA Youth Cup this evening as they welcome Premier League outfit Fulham to Landore for their rescheduled fourth-round tie (6pm).

Under competition regulations, clubs are required to charge supporters to attend FA Youth Cup fixtures, and tickets are available HERE.

Supporters should be aware there will be no pay on the day facility for this fixture.

Tickets from the original game will be valid for this rescheduled fixture. Anyone unable to make the new date, or who would like a refund, should email ticketing@swanseacity.com with their club account number.

The fixture - which was due to be played out last Wednesday - was abandoned at half-time due to freezing conditions with the young Swans leading 1-0.

The Swans have reached the fourth round for the first time since the 2020-21 campaign after knocking out Ipswich Town with a 2-1 victory at Portman Road at the previous stage of the prestigious competition.

Meanwhile, the Cottagers - who play in the Under-18s' Premier League - completed a late comeback against Cardiff City to progress to round four.

Under-18s' coach Jarred Harvey: "We played the conditions well last Wednesday, we played with purpose and intensity and we had a couple of good chances from counter-attacks.

"We now have to go again, and we'll prepare as usual. You've got a great Category One club there as opposition, and I thought we gave them respect while being willing to take the game to them.

"Overall, the boys rose to the occasion and they had a brilliant 45 minutes. They managed the emotion of it being a big game in a big competition really well, and we will make sure we are ready to do that again."

Previous meeting - December 19, 2018

Swansea City 1 Fulham 1

Swansea City Under-18s ended 2018 in positive fashion with a draw against Fulham when the Cottagers last completed a fixture in Landore, with only the woodwork depriving them of all three points in Premier League South.

The Swans had taken the lead through a Tivonge Rushesha penalty but were pegged back on the stroke of half-time as Fabio Carvalho slotted home from inside the area.

The hosts had their chances during an improved second-half showing but it ended all-square.

The Swans weathered a storm of early Fulham pressure, and took the lead in the 24th minute after a swift counter-attack ended with winger Mason Jones-Thomas being fouled in the area for a clear-cut penalty.

Full-back Rushesha assumed responsibility and calmly beat keeper Tony Stahl to find the bottom corner of the net from the spot.

Swansea had grown into the game and looked set to head back to the changing rooms with their lead intact, but were dealt a blow just seconds before the half-time whistle.

Sylvester Jasper found room down the left and his pull-back was slotted home by the arriving Carvalho.

Despite the setback, Swansea started the second half on the front foot with Arnor Gudjohnsen firing over from the edge of the area after smart build-up play.

They went closer still when Jones-Thomas cut inside onto his left-foot and sent a fizzing strike beyond keeper Stahl, only to be denied by the far post.

Fulham had a late chance of their own to win it, but keeper Scott Reed was equal to Carvalho's low strike.
