Preview | Swansea City v Norwich City
Swansea City will be looking to bounce back after their narrow 1-0 defeat in midweek as Alan Sheehan's side welcome Norwich City to the Swansea.com Stadium this afternoon (3pm kick-off).
The Swans are looking to respond following back-to-back losses on home turf, and return to winning ways after a frustrating run.
Norwich, meanwhile, have lost their last four games in succession and are winless in their last seven Championship fixtures.
Team news
Malick Yalcouye will miss out due to suspension following his red card on Wednesday evening in the Swans' defeat against Queens Park Rangers, the Brighton loanee will serve a three-match ban.
Alan Sheehan was also hopeful of having Manuel Benson available having missed the last two games with a tight hamstring.
Pre-match views
Alan Sheehan: "I think you need to score your chances and you need to defend your box properly – and everything in between that needs to be quite solid as well.
"I think it was 11 different nationalities starting [against QPR]. They're an honest group, they're a group that we are gelling.
"We are looking to get that Championship formula, to find that solidity in how we do things and of course create more chances and become that free-flowing team.
"QPR was obviously disappointing even though I'm proud of how we did with 10 men, but we have to get to a place where we are aggressive in what we do and come out on the right side of the margins."
Liam Manning: "Swansea represent a tough test, its a tough place to go. They're well organised and well set up. They've invested a decent amount in the summer.
"We won't deviate from what we're already doing, if we can we can take our chances early, we'll have a good chance.
"The Championship is a 'crazy' league. We cannot keep letting opportunities pass, the players should be desperate to make up for it."
Meet the officials
Adam Herczeg will be the man in the middle when Swansea City host Norwich City this afternoon.
This will be the first time the Durham referee will take charge of the Swans having been promoted to the EFL in the summer of 2023.
PGMO Development Group official Herczeg has been refereeing since the age of 15. He took charge of his first EFL Championship fixture in March 2024.
He has officiated eight games across the EFL this campaign, handing out 33 yellow cards.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Alistair Nelson and Matthew Smith. Thomas Parsons will be the fourth official.
Remember the last time?
Swansea City 1 Norwich City 0
Swansea City remained unbeaten at home in the Championship after Amankwah Forson’s early own goal gave the hosts all three points against Norwich City at the Swansea.com Stadium.

In an entertaining contest between two sides determined to try and get on the front foot there were chances at both ends.
Liam Cullen had a header cleared off the line, while Ollie Cooper and Eom also forced Angus Gunn into saves in the Norwich goal, while Ronald was unable to turn the ball home at the far post.
At the other end Lawrence Vigouroux made stops from Josh Sargent, while Kyle Naughton and Harry Darling made crucial blocks to see the Swans rewarded for a tireless performance with a victory.
