They will face a Preston side smarting on the back of a late defeat to Lancashire rivals Blackburn last time out, but who are within three points of the play-off places, on a night when Snoop Dogg makes his first visit to a Swans game.

Pre-match views

Vitor Matos Derby

Vitor Matos: "We play again at home, which is brilliant and that doesn't happen a lot for us that we play back to back games at home. So we have that now, we can recover, rest and get ready.

"We focus on Preston because that will be a massive game for us as well, it's another night where the connection between the stadium and the team can be key.

"The fans made every tackle and kicked every ball with us during the final 15 minutes against Bristol City. It gives us so much energy and we want more of the same of that."

Ben Whiteman (Preston captain): “They are a really intense side.

“A new manager has come in with a different philosophy; he wants to be on the front foot. We've got to match that and match the intensity, which we will do, trying to get the three points.”
