Swansea City Women return to the Swansea.com Stadium as they welcome Wrexham Women in the Genero Adran Premier (5.10 kick-off).

The Swans play their third game at the Swansea.com Stadium, having faced off against Cardiff Met Women and Cardiff City Women last season, but their first as a semi-professional outfit.

The clash sees the third-placed Swans face off against second-placed Wrexham, with only three points separating the two sides.

Wrexham come into the fixture in strong form, having won five games in a row. A 3-0 defeat at home to Cardiff City is their only loss of the season so far.

But the Swans have also been on a good run, winning four of the last five games in all competitions.

PRE MATCH-VIEWS

Robyn Pinder against Wrexham

Swansea City forward Robyn Pinder: “It’s going to be a massive game, a lot of people wrote off Wrexham early on but they gave us such a tough game away from home and both teams are high up in the table.

"We know we will have great support who will be right behind us, and we really want to give back to our community as a team.”

PREVIOUS MEETING

The two sides last met in the opening game of the Genero Adran Premier season, with Katy Hosford’s late goal equaliser earning the Swans a point in a dramatic 3-3 draw.

Goals from Robyn Pinder and Chloe Chivers appeared to have salvaged a point for the Swans, after the visitors had found themselves two goals down to a first-half finish from Rebecca Pritchard and a second-half goal by Rosie Hughes for newly-promoted Wrexham.

However, an 89th-minute goal by Hannah Keryakoplis looked to have sealed three points for the home side in a feisty affair, which saw Ellie Lake shown a straight red seconds later.

But the Swans refused to give up and captain Hosford popped up in the fifth minute of injury time to find the net with a deflected equaliser.
