Raffle prize is just the ticket

1st August

A Tottenham Hotspur fan will be treating his father-in-law to a seat at the Swans this season.
Darren Woods, from Woolwich in London, won the star prize after buying raffle tickets at the Royal Welsh Show.
Swansea City attended the four-day event in Mid Wales last month with coaches also on hand to deliver fun and structured football sessions to children.
Thousands of raffle tickets were purchased, with free Swans shirts from the 2013-14 campaign given out to anyone who spent £5 or more in the hope of winning the season tickets.
The raffle raised over £4,000 for the clubs SwansAid charity.
Darren entered the draw in the hope of winning the season tickets for father-in-law and loyal Swans fan of 37 years, Malcolm Williams.
He said: "I was very happy, I wasn't expecting it. My father in-law was even happier, he couldn't believe it."
Swans fan Malcolm said: "It was brilliant to see the Swans at the Royal Welsh Show and, judging from the large number of people of all ages around the stand, they were certainly a popular attraction.
"I think it's important that the club is seen at events around Wales as it allows the club to reach more and more people and it reinforces the fact that we are a community club to whom our supporters are so important."
