Swansea City were delighted to host the first City Business Network (CBN) event of 2022, last Friday (February 4), at the Swansea.com Stadium.

Over 80 local businesses attended the event, titled ‘The Social Network’. Guests enjoyed presentations from Swansea City’s marketing and media team, with appearances from Get Caked and Au Vodka.

Attendees were also treated to a delicious afternoon tea courtesy of Get Caked, with miniature bottles of Au Vodka also gifted.

Swansea City would like to thank all guests who attended this event and are now pleased to reveal details about our upcoming event.

The next City Business Network event, in association with Ministry of Furniture, will be held on Tuesday, March 8 at the Swansea.com Stadium.

This event titled ‘Women of Influence’ will feature a panel discussion of influential people who work within sport, and those who contribute towards a modern business approach.

Panellists include:

  • Lowri Roberts, Head of Women’s Football at FAW
  • Gemma Grainger, Women’s National Team Manager
  • Siwan Lillicrap, Wales Women’s Rugby Captain
  • Ian Owen, Swans Ladies Team Manager
  • Rebecca Edwards-Symmons, Head of Commercial at Swansea City Football Club
  • Paul Morton, Head of UK Defence Sector at Vodafone UK.

The event will be hosted by ITV Sports Reporter Beth Fisher from 8.30am, with a bubbly breakfast provided.

All businesses are welcome at our ‘Women of Influence’ event, with free access available to our current CBN members.
