Richards returns to Swans squad

19th December

Jazz Richards feels ready to make a first-team push after returning from his loan spell at Huddersfield Town.
The Wales international made nine appearances for the Terriers in the Championship, featuring at both right wing-back and his more familiar role of right-back under Mark Robins.
He returned to the Swans on Wednesday and took part in the afternoon training session as the squad prepare for Sunday's Barclays Premier League clash with Everton at the Liberty.
It marks the start of a busy Christmas period, with the Swans taking in three games in seven days after Sunday's test against Roberto Martinez's side.
And Richards is hoping to be among Michael Laudrup's plans as the Great Dane deals with the hectic schedule.
"I've come back from Huddersfield with a number of games behind me, which is what I needed," said the 22-year-old, whose sole Swans appearance this season came in the Europa League tie in Malmo.
"I enjoyed my time with the club and I'm grateful to them for giving me the opportunity of regular game-time, but now I'm hoping to be amongst the first team plans here at Swansea.
"I will give the manager further options at right-back, particularly as Angel (Rangel) is suspended for Sunday's game with Everton.
"But, as everyone realises, Christmas is a busy period for every team so it's important the manager has plenty of options available.
"Hopefully I'll get some game-time, but, if not, I will be pushing hard to prove that I'm ready to step in and do a job for the team and manager."
