Run the length of the Liberty pitch
8th March
Swans fans young and old will get the chance to run the length of the Liberty Stadium pitch at the end of the month as part of the Community Trust's Family Fun Run.
Taking place on Easter Bank Holiday Monday, March 28, the Swans Family Fun Run will include three different distances (1k, 5k and a timed 10k) to cater for all ages and abilities.
Participants will complete laps of the Liberty Stadium before a quick dash through the stadium, along the hard-surface and passed the dug-outs and across the finishing line to collect your specially designed Swansea City medal.
The event is designed for all the family to help promote healthy living and raise money for the Swans' official charity. It means that the hard-working Community Trust department can continue to deliver health, education and youth engagement projects aimed at improving the lives of those living in our local communities.
There will also be family activities in and around the stadium, including a selection of caterers in the Runners' Village to ensure a fun-packed Easter is had by everyone. There are sure to be some Swans special guests as well, including Cyril the Swan.
Local radio station, The Wave, is also on board with the event and their presenters will compare and deliver on-air coverage via a live link throughout the day as our Family Fun Run partners.
Entry, which includes a Swansea City medal, is priced:
• 1k - £5 (starts 10am)
• 5k - £5 (starts 10.45am)
• 10k timed race for over 15 year olds - £12 (starts 12pm)
