Russell Martin will have a full squad at his disposal for Sunday’s south Wales derby against Cardiff City at the Swansea.com Stadium (12pm).

Martin has everyone available for the first time since being appointed as Swans boss in the summer.

His selection has been boosted by the return of Ryan Bennett, Olivier Ntcham and Michael Obafemi, while Ethan Laird and Ryan Manning have recovered after having to withdraw from international duty through injury.

Bennett and Obafemi have not featured in the last four matches, with their last outings coming in the 3-3 draw with Luton Town on September 18.

Ntcham, meanwhile, missed the 0-0 draw with Derby County before the international break following a hamstring injury sustained in the previous match at Fulham.

Laird was unavailable for international duty with England Under-20s due to injury, while Manning returned from the Ireland camp following a scan after he sustained a knock in the draw with Derby.

That means Martin has plenty of options at his disposal as he takes in his first south Wales derby.

“I’m in a rare position as a head coach in that we have everyone fit. Everyone is training and is part of our preparations,” said Martin.

“I think this is the first time we’ve had everyone available this season. It’s down to a lot of hard work with the physios and sports science team.

“It’s a lovely position to be in, but it’s tough as selecting who will be on the bench is hard. Any manager will tell you it's a brilliant problem to have.”
