Ryan Hedges Barnsley transfer

31st January

Swansea City winger Ryan Hedges has joined Championship side Barnsley on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old, who joined from Welsh league side Flint Town in July 2013, spent three-and-a-half seasons with the Swans, and helped the under-21s lift the Development League Two title in 2015.
Hedges, who had one more year on his contract, scored his first professional goals whilst on loan with League One side Leyton Orient in 2015. He has also netted four times while on loan at Yeovil Town in League Two this season.
He becomes the second player to leave the Liberty Stadium permanently following Neil Taylor's departure to Championship side Aston Villa.
