Saibene: Swans are group favourites

2nd October

St Gallen manager Jeff Saibene insists his side face a huge challenge at the Liberty on Thursday night (8.05pm) against a Swans side he believes are now favourites to progress from Group A.
In the second round of matches in the tournament, the Liberty hosts two unbeaten teams in the group following St Gallen's 2-0 home win over Kuban Krasnodar while Michael Laudrup's side claimed a memorable 3-0 victory in Valencia.
And Saibene believes that result at the Mestalla puts Laudrup's side in pole position to top the group and progress to the knockout stages.

"For us this a huge challenge. We are playing an established Premier League team," said the former Luxembourg international.
"They are a very good team. They have proved that now.
"It was a surprise (Swansea's win in Valencia). That was a very convincing win and it shows the strength of the team.
"When you look at the result, it shows the level that Swansea are playing at.
"Swansea are just about favourites for the group.
"But in the Europa League Group Stage, it is unpredictable. Anyone can beat any team.
"We don't want to come here and hide - we are going to go out and give our all."
