Samuel: We deserve play-off final place

7th May

Two-goal hero Alex Samuel says the Under-21s deserve their place in this season's play-off final after a penalty shoot-out victory over Nottingham Forest.
The Swans trailed 2-0 against Forest at half time - a lead that the home side held until five minutes before the end of normal time.
Henry Jones then pulled a goal back before Samuel grabbed the first of his two goals in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
The striker then put the Swans ahead in the first period of extra-time, but Forest hit back to equalise with three minutes remaining.
That led to a decisive shoot-out with the visitors running out 5-4 winners on a dramatic night at the City Ground.
The Swans will now face Huddersfield in the final, and Samuel insists they more than deserve to end the season on a high.
"It was a fantastic win," he said. "Being 2-0 down we had to dig deep but I thought we were excellent in the second half.
"We put in a performance that has been there all season and we're delighted to be in the final.
"We knew that if we could get a goal back then we had a chance, and then it was just a matter of time before we got the second.
"We did it the hard way with a penalty shoot-out but great credit to the boys for the way they performed.
"Based on our performances across the season we deserve to be in the final. What happened in this game I'm sure will spur us on again against Huddersfield."
