Samuel's delight with goal

14th February

Alex Samuel was delighted to return to the scoresheet as the Under-21s earned a crucial victory over Brentford.
The development squad maintained top spot in Development League Two South after a 4-2 victory at Griffin Park.
An own goal from Bees defender Marcos Tebar broke the deadlock before Kenji Gorre grabbed his 13th of the season with a fine strike.
Brentford hit back with two goals either side of a Giancarlo Gallifuoco header, before Samuel sealed the win in stoppage time with a cool finish.
"I'm happy to have scored and got the win," said the striker. "You've got to work hard and hopefully the chances will come.
"It's much more physical and quicker than youth team football, but I'm enjoying it a lot.
"It was a fantastic win for us. The boys put a great shift in and I think we deserved the three points in the end.
"The first half was very tight, but we had to keep going to get that first goal. Brentford are a tough side to break down and we had to dig deep because they came back at us twice.
"We need to try and learn to shut games down and we'll try and learn from that and keep improving."
