Sanches set to face Swans starlets

A batch of Swansea City youngsters are set for a sneak preview of new signing Renato Sanches tonight.

Joe Rodon, Jack Evans, Dan James, Cian Harries and Liam Cullen are all away with the Wales Under-21 squad.

And Rob Page’s team are set to face Sanches this evening when they take on the Portugal Under-21s in the Portuguese city of Chaves.

Sanches, who joined the Swans on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich last week, was one of the stars of Portugal’s senior side as they won Euro 2016.

But the 20-year-old is now back with the country’s youngsters as they bid to qualify for the Uefa Under-21 Championship.

Wales began their qualification campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Switzerland, with James, Evans and skipper Rodon all featuring.
