Swans and DSA host ASD-Friendly area at Family Fun Day

1st August
Club

Swansea City and the Disabled Supporters’ Association (DSA) are delighted to invite ASD supporters and parents to a designated autism-friendly space at the Liberty Stadium for the club's family fun day on August 7.

Swansea City understands that for ASD supporters, events like fun days can present numerous sensory challenges. To help manage this, the DSA and club staff will be hosting a relaxed quiet space in ‘The Cwtch’ at the Liberty where supporters can enjoy their day.

The club has also highlighted a designated area in the stands for ASD supporters to sit away from the larger crowd, if desired. Whilst within the room, sensory barriers, such as noise and light, will be minimised and they will be flexible to allow supporters to explore the event at their own pace.

Entry to the open training session, fun fair and ASD area will be free of charge.

For any questions, or to secure your ASD area passes, please contact accessibility@swanseacity.com and include the child’s name, age, specific dietary requirements and who they’ll be accompanied by. Places are limited so booking is essential.
