Swans away-day boost for loyal fans

Swansea City is pleased to announce three new 'away day' offers to help reduce the costs for travelling fans in the Barclays Premier League.
The club has agreed reciprocal deals with Newcastle United and Hull City to reduce the price of match tickets for away fans.
It means Newcastle and Hull fans travelling to the Liberty Stadium later this season will pay a reduced price of just £20 for adults and £5 for concessions. The offer will be reciprocated for Swans fans travelling to St James' Park and the KC Stadium.
"The reduced away ticket price initiative is something we started looking into over the summer,'' explained Swansea City vice-chairman Leigh Dineen. "We contacted all clubs in the Premier League, but received very little feedback.
"But we've kept working at it and I'm glad to see that things have slowly started to gather pace.
"We are in constant dialogue with other clubs in the Premier League and hope to announce additional reciprocal deals over the course of the campaign.
"We are determined to help keep the costs down for travelling supporters; not just for our own loyal fans, but those supporters of other clubs around the country as well.''
To continue the theme, Swans fans travelling to Fulham on November 23 will also receive a free matchday programme, with a free copy of the club's own Jack Magazine going to all Cottagers visiting the Liberty Stadium for the return.
It's the latest in a number of initiatives driven by the club and Supporters Trust Director, Huw Cooze.
The club gave £15 off official coach travel to Spurs back in August, followed by a free scarf for all Swans fans travelling to West Brom two weeks later. In a reciprocal deal made with Crystal Palace, fans travelling to Selhurst Park received a half-price adult ticket with every child ticket purchased.
Then at Southampton a fortnight ago, the Swans paid for all 1500 travelling fans to receive a free hot meal from the concourse at St Mary's.
And for the long-awaited Welsh derby on Sunday, November 3, the Swans will provide free official coach travel for all 2,200 fans making the trip to the Cardiff City Stadium.
