Paul Clement has revealed that Swansea City will look to increase their attacking threat come the January transfer window.

The Swans’ defensive record so far this season has been good but they have failed to do enough damage at the other end of the field.

Clement’s side have scored only seven league goals in 2017-18 – the lowest tally in the division – and the Swans manager feels work must be done to increase firepower.

“When you see our goalscoring record and our ability to take chances, you can see we need to strengthen the forward positions,” he said.

“How many players that will be I don’t know. It’s hard to say at the moment, but certainly I think we need one or two.

“Our recruitment department are working hard to identify good players who can bring us more quality and more help in the forward positions, and who are realistic targets for us.”
