Swans Christmas Surprises with Westacres | Matt's Cafe

This Christmas, Swansea City are teaming up with club partner Westacres, to provide Christmas surprises to some very special people (and animals) this festive season.

Our next Christmas surprise saw club ambassador Lee Trundle personally delivering food to Matt’s Café.

Matt’s Café is part of Matthew’s House, which aims to provide a home in the heart of Swansea for the homeless and others who need support.

Over £500 worth of food has been donated to Matt’s Café, to ensure that everyone is able to have a Christmas dinner this year.

"Christmas can be a difficult time for many, and our hope at Matthew’s House is to bring as much joy as we can," said Ellie Phillips, team leader at Matthew's House.

"We will be hosting Christmas dinner for roughly 150 guests on Christmas Day, with all the trimmings and gifts to take away.

"We wouldn’t be able to do this without generous donations from the public and our army of volunteers.

"The Swans have supported us since the very beginning and we are incredibly thankful to have their backing this Christmas."
