Swans up for the cup, says Carroll

27th October

Tom Carroll insists Swansea City are heading to Anfield full of confidence ahead of Tuesday's Capital One Cup tie against Liverpool (8pm).
The Swans travel to Merseyside on the back of a crucial 2-0 victory over Leicester at the weekend - a result which lifted Garry Monk's side up to sixth in the Premier League table.
But attention now turns to a competition that the Swans won back in 2013, where they ironically knocked out Liverpool in the fourth round at Anfield.
And ahead of Tuesday's clash, Carroll says his team-mates are looking to progress to the last eight.
"Tuesday is another big game for us," he said. "It was a good performance from the lads on Saturday to get the win.
"We didn't really get it going as much in the second half, but overall we deserved the win and it was nice to get back to winning ways.
"Playing against Liverpool at Anfield is always a tough ask, but we are confident and looking forward to it."
Carroll came on as a second-half substitute against Leicester on Saturday as the Swans earned a deserved three points.
The on-loan Spurs man has now made five appearances in all competitions, as well as starting both games in the Capital One Cup so far.
And the midfielder is hoping for yet more game time at Anfield on Tuesday.
"It's a great game to try and be involved in," he said. "They (Liverpool) haven't quite got going as well as they did last season but they have great players and I'm sure they will click soon.
"On our day we're capable of beating anyone so we are all really looking forward to it."

Due to regeneration work around Anfield there are changes to the way fans can access the stadium. Full details can be found HERE.
A family park will be open to home and away fans three hours before kick off, while Swans supporters are advised to arrive early at the stadium in order to be seated in time for the start of the game.
Please note, supporters cannot upgrade their match ticket on the day of the game.
