Swans cut travel cost for Cup replay

8th January

Swans fans looking to make the trip to the Emirates for next week's FA Cup replay against Arsenal have been given a financial boost by the club.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast throughout January, Swansea City's Board of Directors has agreed to subsidise the cost of travel on the club's official coaches.
Swans fans looking to back Michael Laudrup and the lads for the third round replay will now pay just £5 for the return trip to London, saving each supporter around £20 each.
"It's the least we can do,'' said the club's Supporters Director, Huw Cooze. "We could end up with nine games in January. That doesn't come cheap for supporters, especially after the expensive Christmas period on and off the pitch.
"Our supporters back us in great numbers at home and away, something the Board and the players are extremely grateful for considering our geographical position to the rest of the teams in the Premier League.
"We want them to keep supporting us all over the country because it does make a huge difference for the team. We hope this financial gesture helps a little bit and it's the club's way of saying thank you.''
