Swans drawn Romanian opponents

Swansea City have been drawn against Romanian side Petrolul Ploiesti in the Europa League Play-Off stage.
In the draw made in Nyon this afternoon, Michael Laudrup's side have been given a home advantage in the first leg at the Liberty Stadium, which will take place on Thursday, August, 22 with the return leg a week later on August 29.
The Swans progressed to the Play-Off round after seeing off Swedish outfit Malmo 4-0 on aggregate, with the Capital One Cup winners advancing after a 0-0 draw at the Swedbank Stadion on Thursday night.
Ploiesti won the Romanian Cup last season and finished third in their league. They are managed by Cosmin Contra, who played under Laudrup at Getafe.
The Swans, who were seeded in group two of the draw, avoided trips to Hafnarfjördur (Iceland), Aktobe (Kazakhstan), Apollon Limassol (Cyprus) and Atromitos (Greece).
Should the Swans progress they will enter the Group Stage draw in Monaco on Friday, August 30.
