Swans duo get Wales U19 call

The two centre-backs have been called up by boss Paul Bodin for the 2019 Uefa European Championship U19 qualifying round, which is being held in North Wales.

Cooper has been a regular for the Swans’ under-23s this season, while he was a handed a senior debut in the Carabao Cup tie against Crystal Palace in August.

Cabango, meantime, has been playing first-team football for The New Saints after joining them on loan.

Wales Under-19s will take on Scotland, San Marino and Sweden in the tournament, which runs from November 14-20.

The matches will be played at Belle Vue, Rhyl and the VSM Stadium in Bangor. They are all ticketless and free entry.

The group winners and runners-up will advance to next year’s elite round.
